Bone Health is important throughout our lifecycle with most of us reaching peak bone mass by age 30. Bone-healthy behaviours are important from an early age in order to optimize bone health. As we age, we lose bone mass and may become at-risk for osteoporosis and related fractures.

If you live in Mississauga, Toronto or Guelph join our live virtual 1-hour interactive instructive cooking class to learn how to make our featured recipe Air Fryer Sweet Potato Topped Mini Meat Loaves with 36g protein and 450 mg per serving. If you don’t have an air-fryer – don’t worry as instruction will be provided to cook using your oven!

The registration fee is $15 per person which provides you with cooking instruction, grocery delivery of the ingredients the day prior to the class delivered by Longo’s by Grocery Gateway and an Unbreakable Apron.

For those outside of the select locations or if you prefer to watch Emily Richards demonstrate the recipe, register for the free online cooking demo.

During the snowy months there are many ways to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. If you have osteoporosis – you may need to make modifications to some winter activities or choose a different way to stay active entirely depending on your condition.
