A compelling call for justice, the documentary Stolen Time follows charismatic elder rights lawyer, Melissa Miller, as she takes on the corporate for-profit nursing-home industry—an industry notorious for its lack of transparency and accountability. As the legal battle unfolds, families, frontline caregivers and change-makers chronicle an urgent crisis with ramifications—and inspiration—for us all.
A co-production of National Film Board of Canada and Intuitive Pictures Inc.,
Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario and Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse invite you to attend a virtual screening of Stolen Time on July 10, 2024 (start time: 1 PM ET).
The film will be followed by a 50 minute live Q&A session. Stolen Time director, Helene Klodawsky, and Melissa Miller (Howie Sacks and Henry LLP), will be in attendance to answer your questions. Denise Koster (Koster Consulting & Associates) will be moderating the discussion. Additional speakers will be announced shortly.
