Join EAPO for our Webinar: "Compassionate Community Care: Supporting Seniors and Vulnerable Persons".

Presenter, Kathy Matusiak Costa, Executive Director of Compassionate Community Care (CCC) will provide an overview of the Being with My Story Visitors Program”, an exciting visiting training opportunity, that aims to help and care for those you love and need support in the community. Kathy will highlight effective ways in reducing social isolation and loneliness and how to improve the quality of life and well-being for seniors. Their ‘Community Advocacy Training’ will demonstrate how one can become an effective community advocate and help empower others to do the same.

Individuals attending the webinar, will learn how to:

  • Recognize issues vulnerable people may experience and support effective ways to support them in getting the help that can lead to living fuller lives.
  • Become an effective advocate for vulnerable seniors, as well as people with disabilities or dealing with illness.
  • Work with CCC to participate in and provide visits to those in need and access available resources and materials, that promote the growth of compassionate community supports.
