Dear Supporter,

When it comes to dementia research, this is one of the questions we hear most often.

And the simple answer is YES.

We know more about dementia now than even just a few years ago. Thanks to you, we’re funding Canadian researchers who are paving new paths forward in dementia research, unlocking better treatments, new methods of detection, and disease-modifying therapies.

We’re excited to introduce the 2023 Alzheimer Society Research Program (ASRP) award recipients in Ontario. These grants encourage researchers to not only conduct innovative research here in Ontario, but also think of new ways to move that research into practice and share their findings with the public.

The ASRP is one of Canada’s most innovative hubs for dementia research, helping the best and brightest minds in the field spark their work from ideas to impact.
